Remembering Great Grandma G

We were pulling together some photos for a memory show for Brian's Grandma, and I thought I would share a couple of my favorites from the past few years.

Whenever we went to visit, she always wanted us to take her out for a burger and fries, then some kind of sweet treat (a woman after my own heart). So of course, we obliged.

Brian told me that on this trip to the drug store, Grandma and Katy cruised the Halloween candy for quite some time.

Like the preist said during the service on Tuesday, "Eight-five years is a long life. But it never seems long enough."

It really is amazing that your children got to know one of their great grandparents! I have had no grandparents since college and my husband has one grand parent left- we feel blessed that our children know him! Prayers for peace for your family & love this tribute to a wonderful woman!
