David just turned 18 MONTHS!! and Katy will be three and a half before we know it. They have both grown and changed so much recently, I've been feeling the need to capture them on video before they are unrecognizable to me! So...three videos that capture the current essence of the kiddos. (And you know what they say about boys? You'll notice that David's videos are about trucks and balls - I can't believe it, but it's true!)

Eeee! They really ARE getting so big! And more adorable by the day, it seems. I really love your fall photos.
I'm waaaaay behind on the comment here, but a few posts ago, about the 3.5-year-old struggles. I know with Calum, he is SO strong willed, I sometimes feel desperate. Giving him "choices" works well some of the time. You can pee on the floor and have your book taken away, or you can pee on the potty and get a sticker on your chart... that sort of thing.
I also find that Calum is getting to the end of nap. About 6 months ago, we started letting him pick two toys (almost ALWAYS superhero dolls; and some toys aren't allowed as "sleeping friends) to bring to bed with him. He can play until he's tired enough to fall asleep. And we still get some break time before we go to sleep.
It's not a perfect system, but it's working for now!
